About Me
I get immersed in the edit. Arranging one shot against another, positioning one scene before the next, letting the story unfold – it’s a process that continues to surprise me. I’ve been editing for 19 years, on everything from cable documentaries, to reality TV, to films. This range of experience has only enhanced my ability to tell a story in various styles. And there’s never been a project that hasn’t taught me something new.
My work has been seen on PBS, CNN, History Channel, A&E, National Geographic Channel, at various film festivals including Sundance Film Festival, Tribecca Film Festival and at MoMA. Witness: Katrina won the 2011 News and Documentary Emmy for Historical Programming. And the 4-hour special JFK: 3 Shots That Changed America was given a FOCAL International Award for Outstanding Special.
You’ll find me every May in New Orleans at Jazz Fest, listening to music, eating good food, and roaming the Bywater for new discoveries. And maybe having a Sazerac or two.
